Benefits of Girls Education

One in five girls in all of sub-Saharan Africa complete secondary school, and there are millions more who will never move beyond primary school. Different studies done by the World Bank and other independent research institutions indicate that Investing more in girl’s education can make a significant contribution to the reduction of poverty in Africa. However, I think it’s very important for people to recognize that the lack of education for both boys and girls is a crisis in Africa. But the benefits of girls’ education, in terms of improving health, women’s empowerment, and family well-being, probably does make girls’ education the highest-returning social investment in the world.
