EMPOWERING TANZANIAN YOUTH WITH COMPUTER SKILLS
Across Africa, many youths do not know how to use a computer, an absolute requirement for success in today’s technology-driven environment. In Tanzania, the Youth for Children Innovation Hub, a University of Dar-es-Salaam initiative, is geared toward reducing the digital divide by providing young people with computer skills training, boot camps, and mentorship. Africa 54 Technology Correspondent Paul Ndiho spoke to Caroline Lewanga, a Youth for Children Innovation Hub facilitator based in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.
