Digital Payment Revolution In Uganda
Despite a robust digital payment revolution in Uganda, many traders and consumers still use cash. But this is about to change. Driven by mobile money, there is an increased number of digital wallet providers such as Pivotpay trying to make their mark. Africa 54 Technology Correspondent Paul Ndiho spoke to Atim Joyce Sandra, a single mother of three daughters. She learned how to code and became a data analyst at PivotPay after being kicked out of her home to provide for her kids.
