Bamboo bikes by Boomers International, a bicycle production company in Kumasi, Ghana, have made a name among bike fans. Starting as a community project, Boomers International is now a leading producer of bamboo bicycles in West Africa, exporting bamboo bikes to the United States and other countries. Joining me from New York City is Kwabena Danso, CEO of Boomers International and Director of Yonso Project Model School, which seeks to empower rural communities with education and provide employment opportunities for rural youth communities.
