Zimbabwe prepares for its second general election since removing Mugabe, but voter fatigue outweighs optimism. The general elections, scheduled for Wednesday, hold immense significance for the future of this southern African country. Analysts say the daily struggle to provide food hampers political engagement for many amidst an educated but underemployed population.
