PASSION FUELS DRONE BUILDER IN ZAMBIA

By Paul Ndiho

In today’s technology report, we meet a 19-year-old Zambian, a determined, self-taught drone pilot named Lawrence Twaambo. He uses scrap materials to build drones that fly and capture stunning aerial footage of his community. Despite skepticism from his friends, Lawrence’s passion and creativity fuel his desire to use her homemade drones for the greater good. He aims to build and innovate, hoping to get a commercial license to fly one day. For more, I am joined by Lawrence Twaambo from the Zambian capital, Lusaka.
