On October 11th, we celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child, a global observance declared by the United Nations in 2011. In our tech segment, we meet Aisha Addo, the founder of the Power to Girls Foundation Ghana, an organization empowering young women across West Africa. Power to Girls Foundation provides web and coding skills, mentorship, training, and relationship-building for girls in Ghana and nearby regions. VOA’s Paul Ndiho spoke to Aisha Addo Accra, Ghana, to share more about her foundation’s empowering work.
