Delegates at COP28, a UN climate conference in Dubai, have approved a fund to assist developing nations in dealing with the damaging effects of climate change. This fund aims to aid countries, particularly in Africa, disproportionately affected by climate-related disasters such as floods, droughts, and rising sea levels.
