PETRO APP – BRINGING TECHNOLOGY INTO NIGERIA’S OIL SECTOR
Nigeria is one of the largest oil producers in Africa. The oil and gas sector accounts for more than 90% of the country’s exports and 80% of the federal government’s revenue. However, the industry has many challenges and has difficulty adapting to new technology.
A new mobile application, “Petro App,” tries to disrupt and expose sharp practices in the oil sector and enable downstream marketers in Nigeria to make fundamental business decisions.
