U.S. MAY REVOKE 200,000 ASYLUM-SEEKERS’ VISAS
A major policy initiative underway between the U.S. Department of State and the Department of Homeland Security signals one of the largest immigration compliance reviews in federal history. Federal agencies are preparing rolling revocations for nonimmigrant business (B1) and tourism (B2) visas issued between 2016 and 2026 to foreign nationals who subsequently filed for asylum.
